DRUM CORPS ALUMNI

THIRD TUESDAY OF THE MONTH PIZZA NIGHTS

The 200th consecutive Third Tuesday of the Month Pizza Night will be held this coming Tuesday night, August 21st, 7pm at The Pizza Joynt located at 39 W. North Avenue, Northlake, Illinois just west of Wolf Road on the south side of North Avenue (708-562-5334). Come on out and have some great pizza along with some spirited talk about drum corps today, yesterday and tomorrow. Please deposit $9.00 into the kitty to help pay for the pizza, pizza tip and our room. Pay our waitress as you go for your drinks & any other eats you order. Bring along any DVDs or cassettes you have for this month’s entertainment.

Last month, Mickey Graeber (Ardennes, Windy City, Norwood & RARC) & Larry Caro (Delta Thunderbirds, Joaquin Caballeros, Royal Airs & RARC) were in town and many Imperials came by to see their old friends. Joe Canzoneri (Royal Airs) and Bob Jendras (Cavaliers) were also here and many alumni came out to visit with them and all the others at a spectacular 3rd Tuesday.

This month, we will celebrate to 200th consecutive Third Tuesday of The Month Pizza Night started in 1996 by Rich Tarsitano, the Royal Airs horn instructor from 1958 to 1962. We hope many of you will come out for a couple of hours of food, drink and memories

Next month, The 3rd Annual All Drum Corps Alumni Picnic will take place on Saturday, September 15th, 2012 at the Fox River Forest Preserve in Port Barrington. It’s another opportunity to be with old and new friends. Contact Adrianne Kaplan at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for info.

Please keep our ailing drum corps brothers and sisters in your thoughts and maybe say a prayer or two for those recovering from recent surgeries, or battling current illnesses especially John Benedetto (Royal Airs) who recently had a heart stent put in. If you know of anyone else whom we should pray for, let us know.
